Twystematic Theology
Announcing an idea I’ve been playing with for a while: the whole of Christian doctrine, 140 characters at a time.
I am going to attempt to post a complete outline of Christian doctrine (in a generally classical, broadly Reformed, Evangelical and Baptist mode – i.e., my doctrine…) through a succession of tweets. If this sounds interesting, please follow @twystematics, and/or head over to www.twystematics.org for more information. I plan to go live with the first tweet on Monday 2nd April.
(Why ‘twystematics’? well, there is an established tradition of naming projects involving Twitter, and Twumma theologica just sounds silly…)
Looking forward to it. I had a similar idea a while back, but never executed it. Was going to call it “Tweet Dogmatics” and invite a variety of theologians to participate and then collect it into a single volume like a book of quotations. Can’t wait to read your pithy theological insights.
